Private Party Magician in Dallas

Up-close magic in your living room, backyard, or private dining room — scaled to the guest list, the layout, and the moment you're celebrating.

Sam Sawyers performing an in-home magic show for children at a private party.

Birthdays · backyard · estate dinners

Private parties are where close-up magic does its best work: cards signed and found in impossible places, coins that end up in the guest of honor's hand, small miracles happening two feet from people mid-conversation. Sam works the room during dinner or drinks, or gathers everyone for a 45-minute parlor feature — most hosts book a mix of both.

Every booking includes a custom host moment — a piece built around the person or milestone being celebrated. Travel anywhere in the Metroplex is included, and if the night runs long, the late-night encore is a request away.

Private party questions

  • How many guests does a private show work for?

The sweet spot is 10 to 80. Smaller groups get pure close-up; larger ones usually add the parlor feature so everyone sees the same show.

  • Close-up or parlor — what's the difference?

Close-up happens in guests' hands while the party keeps moving. The parlor feature is a seated 45-minute show for the whole room. Both are clean, and both travel anywhere in DFW.

  • Can Sam build something around the guest of honor?

Yes — the custom host moment is standard, not an add-on. Tell him who the night is for and what they'd never expect, and he'll take it from there.

  • What if the party runs late?

Late-night encores are available on request — mention it when you book so the timing is planned rather than improvised.
